Well, it looks like we were the first ones on the block to get high speed internet service. We live so far from the city, it has been hard to get any kind of internet service out here. I’ve looked into satellite and wireless internet providers. I’ve looked at DSL, ADSL, and Cable. I even looked into trying to get the local telecommunication company to lay a fiber optic line out here. When you live so far from the city, about 63 miles to be exact, you tend to find it pretty hard to get anything. I think the advantages really outweigh the negative aspects. Living this far out, you don’t have to deal with pollution or traffic.
I’m happy that the local cable company finally offered a high-speed solution. In a cul-de-sac of three homes, we are actually the first one with high speed Internet. Imagine that, 63 miles from civilization and I can actually watch a movie online. I plan on finally getting my business online as well. Now that really have a way of contacting people, I’m pretty sure it will have a chance to really thrive. I’m just glad that I don’t have to use dialup anymore.

Ever since I was a little kid, organization was my main problem. I always was at the top of my class with my grades, but I could never get organized. And up until now, I never really needed to.
Now, my disorganization is starting to catch up with me. At work, I’m trying to juggle 4 major projects, and it’s nearly impossible because I’m not organized. I’m really interested in getting some online project management software to help me sort everything out. As it stands now, I’m just kind of winging it as I go, and that’s not working.
Project management software is good because it also includes project time tracking. This helps you see exactly how much time you’re spending on each project, so you can identify wasted time to help increase efficiency. There’s no telling how much time I’ve wasted on projects in the past because I was disorganized.
Do any of you know of some great project management software I should use? Keep in mind that I’m not a techie, so I need something that’s very user-friendly.
Anyway, I’m going to start searching around online for some good software. Maybe I’ll ask a few of my friends what they use over at their offices.
Here’s to getting organized!
